EVS-projects aim to empower young people by providing voluntary activities in themes of youth participation, youth work and policy, intercultural and lifelong training and learning. This project specifically aims to encourage volunteers in taking forward step in their lives and creating a positive difference both in their own and the others’ lives. The volunteers will gain the needed skills and confidence to further their own participation at civil society organizations at local and/or in European level after returning to their home countries by having the opportunity to volunteer for Non-Governmental Organizations that are active in their local community. Also, the volunteers will foster their own European identity awareness, values, and tolerance by having the chance to live in a new linguistic, social, and cultural environment. In addition, the volunteers will develop new skills, active citizenship and will have a positive impact on society by developing their own projects and by collaborating with people from different nationalities.
